The first step with any build project is the planning stage, and at Key Projects we offer a complete planning package.
This process usually begins with a free, no obligation site visit where we can discuss your requirements and wishes in person. Should you wish to proceed, we will then use the latest BIM software to create an accurate 3D representation of your project, allowing you the opportunity to make any changes early on in the process.
Once you are satisfied with the scheme, we will submit the drawings for planning approval on your behalf. We will also create all of the Construction Drawings should you require them (Most builders will need construction drawings to quote and build to).
Once Planning Permission has been granted, you will need to appoint a contractor to carry out the construction work. We also offer this service and will be happy to submit a no-obligation quotation for undertaking the construction phase.
The role of the Principal Contractor is to organise the construction of the project. In this role we will organise the labour and logistics along with making sure all legally required paperwork is completed and that all health an safety precautions have been taken.
We are committed to being competitive with our prices and by using us as your Principal Contractor, you will have the peace of mind knowing that your project is in the safe hands of people you already know and trust.
As your building project draws to an end, you will be issued with a Completion Package. This will include information such as: SAP/EPC Certificates, NHBC Certificate and maintenance instructions.
We will also always achieve a Building Regulations Certificate for our building projects by acquiring all of the correct certification such as: Design Calculations, NICEIC Electrical and Gas Safe Certificates. This will ensure that your building project is safe and secure, having been built with the correct materials and to the correct standard.
