Tri-port Garage, Quedgeley

This project involved the removal of an existing single garage and the construction of a double garage with an undercover eating area.

The focus of this project was the attention to detail regarding the selection of stone and the use of oak as materials that would allow the garage to merge with the existing house. Special attention had to be given to material deliveries and working methods as the property had limited access and was next to family home.

The key phases of this project were: -

  • Removal of the existing garage

  • Construction of the foundations

  • Civil works for drainage and services

  • Construction of ground bearing concrete floor

  • Masonry work up to wall plate

  • Roof construction

  • Internal oak cladding and finishes

  • Installation of oil storage tanks and connection to existing installation
