Four Shires Court

Having completed a previous project for this client, we were instructed to obtain planning permission to maximise the use of the site.

The site was located within the Cotswold district and had to be constructed in a manner that would not be out of keeping with its location.

Planning was obtained for 13,000 sq/ft of B1, B2 and B8 office and warehouse facilities. As well as composite cladding, Cotswold stone was used to enhance the appearance of the units. The project was phased into two builds to allow an existing tenant access to one of the units.

One major element of the civil groundworks was the construction of a large soak-away, which was designed to accommodate the latest regulations for rainfall in a 10 year event. Due to the poor percolation of the ground the soak-away was bigger than you would normally expect to see on a site of this size.

There were three detached units on the site, all varying in size.

On completion of the development all the units were  let for warehousing and storage.
